Is there anything as refreshing as biting into a peach after a long hot day? As the days grow shorter and the peach harvest hits its peak, there are so many different ways to utilize your harvest or that of family and friends (this zesty peach fruit salad is no exception!).
The art of sharing is one of our favorite parts of summer. Everyone has such beautiful bounties and what better way to celebrate a successful season in the garden than to share among friends and family?
This art of sharing extends to recipes and that is how this particular recipe came to be. One of our good friends brought this recipe to us to share, but with a caveat. We had to keep their identity a secret. How fun?! This recipe is brought to you by our resident Chef in Confidence.

Chef in Confidence Suggestions & Tips for Zesty Peach Fruit Salad
If…
- …peaches are slightly less ripe, add some sugar (was debating adding honey, I will try next time when my peaches might not be so ripe).
- …your onion is older/the taste isn’t your favorite, consider rinsing in cold water before adding.
- …you have extra lime zest around, the more the merrier.
- …if the current level of spice from the serrano is not noticeable (just the occasional hint of that smokey chili fun) play with it to suit your tastebuds.
